Walt Disney World, Florida.

The Sunshine State holds more than just good weather.

This holiday took over a decade to become a reality. I last visited Walt Disney World back in July of 2013, I was a teenager, going through the stages of growing up, I didn’t really appreciate or understand the magic that this place held. Well that was until I left and I was consumed with a dread that fills the life of everybody, growing up. Returning as an adult I had a warped view on the world, harsh realities and experiences that hurt a soul, I won’t lie. Since going back, I’ve felt better with myself and with a more positive outlook on life, how I approach situations, how I view the world and coming to a realisation that I can make a difference not only in my own life but in the lives of others, whether that be through small acts or bigger ones. This has done more for me in a healing sense than any amount of therapy I’ve been through or subject to in my life.

Walt Disney World is a place where adults can be kids again, heal broken hearts, relive memories from their childhoods, embrace the characters they’ve come to love and admire. But I am just sharing my emotions on this, below is the quote from Roy

O. Disney who opened Walt Disney World on October 1st 1971.

“Walt Disney World is a tribute to the philosophy and life of Walter Elias Disney … and to the talents, the dedication and the loyalty of the entire Disney organization that made Walt Disney’s dream come true. May Walt Disney World bring joy and inspiration and New Knowledge to all who come to this happy place … a Magic Kingdom where the young at heart of all ages can laugh and play and learn – together.” - Roy O. Disney
